Voice Commands allow you to control your teleprompter hands-free using natural speech in multiple languages. The system uses advanced speech recognition technology to understand your commands and automatically navigate through your script.

How It Works

1. Speech Recognition: Your microphone captures audio and converts it to text using language-specific models
2. Command Matching: The system matches your spoken words against predefined commands in your selected language
3. Navigation Control: When a command is recognized, the teleprompter automatically scrolls to the appropriate position

Supported Languages

The teleprompter supports voice commands in 5 languages:

• English - Default language with natural English commands
• Italiano - Italian language support
• French - French language support
• Español - Spanish language support
• Deutsch - German language support

Available Commands

Each language supports the same four navigation commands, translated appropriately:

English Commands

• "scroll up" - Move up in the script
• "scroll down" - Move down in the script
• "go top" - Jump to the beginning of the script
• "go bottom" - Jump to the end of the script

Italian Commands (Italiano)

• "sali" - Move up in the script
• "scendi" - Move down in the script
• "vai in cima" - Jump to the beginning of the script
• "vai in fondo" - Jump to the end of the script

French Commands (French)

• "monter" - Move up in the script
• "descendre" - Move down in the script
• "va en haut" - Jump to the beginning of the script
• "va en bas" - Jump to the end of the script

Spanish Commands (Español)

• "sube" - Move up in the script
• "baja" - Move down in the script
• "ve arriba" - Jump to the beginning of the script

Getting Started

1. Select Your Language

Navigate to Settings and choose your preferred language from the Voice Language dropdown menu.

2. Enable Voice Commands

Toggle on the Voice Commands feature in the settings menu.

3. Allow Microphone Access

When prompted, grant your browser permission to access your microphone.

4. Start Using Commands

Simply speak the commands naturally in your selected language. The system will:

• Process your speech in real-time
• Match your words against the available commands
• Automatically navigate the teleprompter when a command is recognized

• Offline Processing: All speech recognition happens locally in your browser using Vosk models

Voice Commands work perfectly alongside Voice Follow mode. You can use:

• Voice Follow for automatic speed adjustment based on your speaking pace
• Voice Commands for manual navigation when you need to jump to specific parts of your script
